PCMK in Mission at Mount Kisco Food Pantry
About once a month, volunteers from the Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco serve at the Mt. Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry. Iif you want to get involved speak to any of the the members pictured above, or to Sue Godshall or Kate Lombardi. The group goes to distribute groceries to our neighbors, offering much-needed resources, including a gift of dignity. The Food Pantry is located at the United Methodist Church in Mt. Kisco (less than a 10 minute drive from our church.) They start serving at 5:30 p.m. and finish up at 7 p.m. Set up is about 5 p.m. The food pantry is a coalition of 12 local congregations, churches and synagogues.

Looking back on Tuesday, I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn from Jim Poinsett. We spent quality time together with me asking questions and Jim giving me the benefit of his experience and perspective. I'm so grateful that our ministries are overlapping!

I'm also grateful for the competence and experience of Stephanie Boorman, who not only runs the office but manages much of the life of the church, assuring that we all function at our optimal capacity. I know I will come to count on her immensely.

That's all for today!
