Russian Cargo Plane Crashed In Karachi

A cargo plane from Russia crashed near the Army and Naval residential apartments in Karachi early in the morning around 1:50 AM local time on Saturday night. According to the recent reports. 8 people have died and 7 are critically injured and moved to the hospital nearby.

The Civil Aviation Authority spokesmen Pervez George said that the aircraft was an Ilyushin IL-76 which was heading towards Sudan's capital Khartoum. There were 8 people on board and none of them are alive. Witnesses says that the plane rammed into the under construction buildings near the area which is considered very sensitive due to the residential areas of military personnel.The magnitude of this plane crash was so extreme that the locals thought it was a huge bomb blast. Further reports will identify these issues about the recent plane crashes in last few months.

Minor Earthquake Jolts Karachi

It was 4:18 AM on the Friday night when a minor earthquake jolt Karachi in it's major areas spreading fear among the citizen. The earthquake has said to be of a minor nature but it jolted many areas of the city like Landhi,Korangi,Malir and Shah Faisal Colony. The area residents came out of their houses in fear and a sudden quake just frightened for a  moment or so.

The intensity measured on Richter Scale was 1.1 according to the Meteorological center of Karachi. The city is filled with many multistory buildings and flats where millions of residents live in the areas mentioned above and more importantly sufficient measures of disaster management are not present for this hugely populated city.

No Loadshedding During Eid For Karachi

Karachi, the most shiniest city of the country has actually become the most darkest due to constant load-shedding and power supply crisis will now be given relief on Eid holidays which is celebrated across the country today. According to the officials of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation also termed as 'KESC' has announced on Tuesday that the power will be supplied uninterrupted throughout the Eid Holidays from Tuesday 6:00 PM to Saturday 9:00 AM.
