It was 4:18 AM on the Friday night when a minor earthquake jolt Karachi in it's major areas spreading fear among the citizen. The earthquake has said to be of a minor nature but it jolted many areas of the city like Landhi,Korangi,Malir and Shah Faisal Colony. The area residents came out of their houses in fear and a sudden quake just frightened for a moment or so.
The intensity measured on Richter Scale was 1.1 according to the Meteorological center of Karachi. The city is filled with many multistory buildings and flats where millions of residents live in the areas mentioned above and more importantly sufficient measures of disaster management are not present for this hugely populated city.
