Beware of Rude BiRite Truck Driver!

Today, while walking in the light rain during my lunch break on Schellville Road, a BiRite Foodservice Distributors truck passed me and the wind from his truck broke one of the prongs on my recently purchased umbrella.

Since the driver was making a delivering nearby, I thought if I saw the driver, I would tell him.

So as I walked by, I said to the driver, "You know, the wind from your truck broke my umbrella". He looked at me and said nothing.

I thought, maybe he didn't hear me or he didn't speak English, so I said, "Did you hear me? I said the wind from your truck broke my umbrella."

He walked up to me and said, "I find that hard to believe."

So I showed him where the metal piece had snapped. He looked, said nothing and walked away!

Shocked by his total lack of concern and complete rudeness, I asked, "No apology?"

He kept walking and continued to ignore me, saying nothing!

Yes, my umbrella may be a little thing but if this fellow had shown me some respect, I would have dropped the whole thing. Since photography is my hobby, I usually have my camera with me and I began to snap a few photos (see below). BiRite Foodservice Distributors will be receiving a link to this blog post today.

There... I feel better now. Everyone should have a blog.

Cheers!
