Google creates Doodle to mark Richard Scarry’s 92nd Birthday

Internet giant, Google created a new Doodle and histed on its homepage to mark the 92nd birthday of popular children's book illustrator and author, Richard Scarry.

The Doodle featured a cityscape featuring mice riding motorcycles and other anthropomorphic animals looking on from windows and helping in rescue of a cat from the second floor of a burning building.
He helped create 300 books that are very popular among children even today, around the world. His first book, "Great Big Car and Truck Book," was published in 1951 by Little Golden Books and "Richard Scarry's Best Word Book Ever" that became his bestseller was published in 1963.
He is particularly known for stories featuring anthropomorphic animals living in the fictional Busytown. . His books have sold over 200 million copies in 30 languages.
Scarry passed away in Switzerland at the age of 74.
