Big doings at church today, as we hosted the voting, the media, and the voters (including the putative governor-elect)!
At 10 AM, when he showed up, the reporters outnumbered the voters. We don't do this for the money (inflation has not hit compensation given to polling places for decades). We do it because we are part of the community. And today, at least, it puts us on the map. Watch your evening cable news and you'll see our Great Hall.
