Day Two

In our second day of conflict mediation training, we covered these topics:

• Interpersonal Peacemaking Skills: How to Be Effective When People are Angry
• Interpersonal Peacemaking Skills: Negotiating Win-Win Solutions
• Mediating Conflict Between Individuals: An Overview of the Process
• Mediation Skills: Getting People to the Table
• Mediation Skills: The Introduction Stage

In addition to head-learning--we've been role-playing and reflecting on the part that we bring to conflict situations.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to deepen my understanding of conflict--this important, and potentially productive element in normal church life!
