here is the chicken pad thai i made for amber this weekend

and here's a mouse that kimmswick ate a little of on sunday morning. he brought it to my feet and then tried to have a bite of the fried chicken po boy leftovers i was eating for breakfast. i think he wanted to do a trade.

took sterling to the vet this morning to get a cone around his neck (so he won't lick an open wound.) ended up having to tell the veterinarianabout the velvet underground were when he asked about our cat's name. all in a day's work!
anyhow, sterling was very well behaved and didn't meow or cry during the car rides and only hissed at a dog once.
i'll post some cone pictures soon.
