Blago judge: Obama unaware of any seat swap bid (AP)

FILE - In this May 2, 2011 file photo, former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich and wife Patti arrive at federal court for final jury selection and opening statements in his second corruption trial in Chicago. Heading into the third week of Rod Blagojevich's retrial on May 16, it's clear prosecutors are guided by the adage that less is more as they streamline what jurors in the first trial complained was an overly complicated case. Blagojevich, who was convicted of one count of lying to the FBI in his original trial, faces 20 federal counts at his second trial, including allegations that he tried to sell or trade President Barack Obama's former Senate seat. (AP Photo/Paul Beaty, File)AP - A federal judge in Chicago says there's no evidence President Barack Obama knew in 2008 that then-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich might have attempted to exchange an appointment to Obama's vacated U.S. Senate seat for a top administration job.
