Two people were hanged in Central Iranian town of Arak

Iran Human Rights, April 14: Two people were hanged in the prison of Arak, in central Iran.

According to the official website of the Iranian judiciary, two men identified as "Ali A." convicted of keeping and carrying 25 kilos of opium, and "Ahmad A." convicted of keeping 120 grams of concentrated heroin and buying 5 kilos and 65 grams of hroin, were hanged in the central prison of Arak.

The executions took place on Wednesday April 13th according to the report.

The charges have not been confirmed by independent sources.
