An interesting gathering at Rotary Club Monday, with visitors from Italy (the Group Study Exchange program that takes early-career professionals to another country to learn and network), and a talk by the County Executive Rob Astorino (above). He gave us a preview of some of the topics he'll address in his his second "State of the County" this Thursday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. in White Plains. The speech will be aired live on cable's News 12.
In addition, I was privileged to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and offer the invocation. I garnered a few laughs when I thanked God for the upcoming Rotary Winetasting this Wednesday, April 6, at 7 PM, even though I knew God was already aware of it.
