Chappaqua Farmers Market
I heard a talk today at Rotary by Nancy Orem-Lyman (a member of PCMK) who is an excited and dedicated advocate for the Chappaqua Farmers Market. Reasons to get involved might be environmental (reducing our carbon footprint by buying local) or culinary (local might taste better) or community (it's a chance to meet and greet our neighbors). In any case, I made myself a promise to check it out, and tell others about it.
The Chappaqua Farmers Market provides fresh, high-quality food grown or produced in the region. They encourage a direct connection between local shoppers and the small-scale farmers and food producers the market champions.
