The recent 'earthquake of wikileaks' have jolted Pakistan like many other nations of the world, but Pakistan High Court has dismissed a petition filed by a citizen to ban Wikileaks access in Pakistan. Arif Gondal, who submitted this petition has an opinion that the recent leakage shown by Wikileaks have put negative impact on the image of Pakistan and this act has been organized to sabotage the current democratic and diplomatic environment of the country.
On the other hand, Pakistan court has refused to accept the petition on the grounds of freedom of speech and one of the judge said that information should be available to everybody because these are the demands of the 21st century.
