First Robocall

Today at 5:01 PM, I sent out the following "robocall" to the households for whom I have phone numbers:

This is a robocall from Jack Lohr, interim pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco. Forgive me, but I want to let you know that tomorrow at 10 AM, PCMK will be doing the US Congregational Life Survey, to get a snapshot of our church. It's the start of the mission study process that leads to a re-definition of our purpose and choosing the next pastor. If you can't be with us, please call the church to take the survey during the week! Thanks for listening, and a blessed Thanksgiving to you and yours.

These are the results:
95 Live Answer
60 voice mails
5 No Answer
1 Not Connected
161 credits used, at a cost of $0.065/credit = $10.47 (there was a 15% discount this week on credits)

(I had one person call me back using the caller-id to clarify what I was talking about!)

I know the congregation was tired of all the recorded phone calls leading up to the election, but this is an efficient way to communicate, I'd say! Let me know what you thought, if you got one of the calls.

--Jack Lohr, Interim Pastor
