Kite Festival Singapore 2010: A Cultural Extravaganza For All Ages


SINGAPORE NEWS - When kites carry hidden messages of peace and cultural harmony, they soar on more than the wind. The 2010 Kite Festival Singapore, which has started from September 18 and 19, is the biggest platform for kite flying enthusiasts from all over the world. The festival is not only allured thousands of kite lovers but also a cultural extravaganza for all ages and all walks of life. The venue is at The Promontory@Marina Bay from 4pm to 8pm. The objectives of The NTUC Income Kite Festival Singapore 2010 are to make the event bigger this year and make the kite as a symbol of grace, cultural diversity and scientific achievements.

The NTUC Income Kite Festival Singapore every year organizes kite flying festival, which captures global eyeball. The festival bestows a wonderful platform for kite lovers from all over the world of all ages and all walks of life. Three key segments are included in this festival, which take place from May to September 2010. First, to educate young minds through Kite Education Programme for Schools, which started from 17 to 27 May 2010? Second, from 30 July to 10 September 2010 the Kite festival Singapore Road Show and Exhibition for the public in malls islandwide. Third, the kite festival on 18 and 19 September 2010, displays a cultural extravaganza of different activities, showcasing kite education, kite making and kite flying.
