half japanese - fire to burn

this is easily one of my top 10 half japanese songs. people love saying that there are only two types of half japanese songs (love and monster) but they have a few songs about how radical it is to be in a diy/rock and roll band as well and how the man doesn't seem to get it. those seem to be the songs that i get into the most. i read a recent interview w/ jad fair where he says that spoon was one of his favorite bands and it bummed me out that he would listen to a band that was so non-threatening. maybe i'm putting too high of expectations on my heroes?
