SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (August 11, 2009) – Property owners throughout Sonoma County are benefiting in many ways from the County’s recent approval of the “Hoot Treatment System” for onsite wastewater treatment.

Approved for use by the Sonoma County Permit & Resource Management Dept, the patented Hoot System is essentially a municipal wastewater treatment plant that is sized for an individual property. The system uses advanced aeration and timed-recirculation to effectively process and treat wastewater and then the safe, clean, treated water is then recycled and reused for landscape irrigation with subsurface drip tubing.
