half japanese "charmed life" isn't as good in reality as it was in my imagination for two or so years. i am wondering if people just think it's the best because it's out of print? kind of like "on the beach," which i think is a good album but maybe if it came out on cd when cds were introduced freak folk would never have happened.
this is the part where i explain that i like "on the beach" a lot, but if people were going to obsess over neil young albums that weren't available on cd they could have chose "time fades away" or "american stars and bars" or something.
also i think "charmed life" proves that david fair is the heart and soul of half japanese. maybe that's why i like "our solar system" the most out of their albums?
