FRANCE - Chelsea Clinton wasn't the only celebrity to tie the knot this past Saturday. Pop diva Alicia Keys and music producer Swizz Beatz also got married this weekend at a glamorous star-studded wedding in Corsica, France.
The pregnant star, 29, followed the footsteps of Chelsea Clinton's marriage, worn an ivory silk, georgette-draped gown by Vera Wang, while the 31-year-old groom, real name Kasseem Dean, was in a tuxedo by Tom Ford featuring a white jacket, pale pink shirt and a bow tie.
Dr. Deepak Chopra, the couple's friend, presided their vows and celebrity guests Queen Latifah and U2's Bono attended the ceremony.
"Wowwwwwwwwww." tweeted Dean during the night of his wedding and later wrote on his Twitter account, "It's a brand new day:) I feel Nas and Diddy song:) love y'all and blessing!"
The two diehard music lovers have been together since fall 2008 and announced their engagement and first expectant news this May. However, no immediate plan was pronounced for wedding by the two then. For Alicia it is her first child, but Dean has two children from his previous two relationships (one married), Kasseem Jr., 3, and Prince Nasir, 9. His first wife was rock R&B singer Mashonda.
Keys released her debut album, Songs In A Mirror, in 2001 and since then has won 12 Grammy Awards. She sang in the opening ceremony of FIFA World Cup in South Africa and the couple have worked together on one song from the album, "The Element of Freedom."
The R&B power couple is expecting Baby Beatz sometime in the fall.
